BRIAN SCHODORF

Brian W. Schodorf is an Emmy-Nominated documentary film producer. His passion for story-telling and revealing the life, struggle, hope, and courageousness of people in everyday society gained him national recognition with the broadcast of his first documentary, “Poverty in Chicago,” released in 2006 by PBS. Schodorf has developed a trademark style of tackling social issues and revealing the interconnectedness of politics, social systems, and the human heart. In 2008 Schodorf released “Greensburg,” the story of the tornado-ravaged town of Greensburg, Kansas and their efforts to build the nations first green town. Schodorf’s programs have been broadcast on The Discovery Channel, Planet Green, PBS, The Documentary Channel, and The Weather Channel. He is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, earning a B.A. in Television Directing in 2006 and an M.A.M. in Media Management in 2008.
